Villages of Kensington seeks a
** Member Recruitment Consultant **
This $10,000 fixed-price contract begins ASAP, with multiple payment deliverables during the 3- to 5-month contract period. Reports to and supervised by VoK Board President or her designee. Possibility of follow-on work through additional grants or VoK funds.
Qualifications: A minimum of a 4-year college degree, commitment to working with seniors, 5 years of practical and proven experience in member recruitment/marketing highly preferred; work with nonprofits a plus. Basic computer and database skills; experience working with online database applications a plus. Knowledge of Villages a significant plus.
Background: Villages of Kensington (VoK) is a volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that assists residents who want to stay in their homes and within our community (ZIP code 20895) as long as is safely possible. We are in our startup phase, having fully opened on 7/1/16. www.VillagesofKensington.org
Goal: Expand Villages of Kensington's membership, especially to seniors at risk due to health status, social isolation, or financial challenges.
- Develop a member recruitment plan for VoK, in consultation with the VoK Board of Directors. The plan should contain measurable goals/objectives, timelines, and evaluation procedures.
- Begin implementing the plan, with VoK Board of Directors and other VoK volunteers.
- Revise/refine the plan, in consultation with the VoK Board of Directors, so VoK can continue implementing it past the project period.
